“Savith has been included in the Special Olympics Cooking Club UAE 2025!  When the application came through, I honestly had little to write other than mentioning his limited skills. Yet, despite those limitations, his application was accepted, and he’s now part of this incredible journey.

We kicked off today with practice, preparing for the exciting days ahead. Savith was so happy and bubbly, fully enjoying every moment of the session. He showed amazing tolerance, posed for pictures, and, to my surprise, didn’t rush to take off his apron and chef hat—he was completely in his element! Since the session was online, held at home, I think he felt at ease, which made it all the more enjoyable for him.

Now my thoughts shift to the future, where he’ll need to adapt to new settings to showcase his skills. I’m determined to train him further, so he’s ready to shine wherever he goes.

Today, he truly made my day.  And on this note, I want to say—despite his limits, differences, and intolerances, this world has still given him a place. And for that, I am forever grateful.“
